Yogi's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David "Yogi" Chambers on February 27, 2024. Born on June 17, 1959, Yogi led an impactful life, leaving an indelible imprint on many who had the fortune to cross paths with him.

Yogi is survived by his loving wife, Dee Chambers. Their bond was unshakable, built on love, respect, and mutual understanding. Their love story was one to behold, exemplifying a partnership that stood the test of time.

Yogi was incredibly proud of his children. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Thomas) Chambers, and son, David (Danielle) Chambers Jr. He also leaves behind his cherished daughter, Amy (TJ) Chambers. Each of his children has carried forth a piece of Yogi's spirit, continuing his legacy in their unique ways.

Yogi was the beloved son of Ruby Chambers. Their relationship was one of mutual respect and admiration, a testament to the strength of maternal bonds. He is also survived by his loving sister, Tammy Meadows, and his brother, Tommy (Kay) Chambers. Their camaraderie and shared experiences were a pillar of strength for Yogi.

A proud grandfather, Yogi leaves behind grandsons Bradley Whitt, Logan Whitt, Marcus Gibson, Graysen Chambers, and Hunter Chambers. His connection with each of them was unique and special, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.

The passing of Yogi Chambers leaves a void in the hearts of many. However, the memories and lessons he imparted will continue to light the path of those who loved him. He will be missed dearly but remembered with immense love and respect.
