Dave was a kind hearted, hard working man who watched over

the many individuals he cared about the most.   He will be missed

by all who knew him and cared about him.  He leaves behind many

memories that leave us with happy smiles.

Heartfelt hugs to my cousin Jeanette and their son Adam.

Uncle Dave,
It's so hard to believe that you're gone. Your hard work, dedication and love will continue to leave a mark on this beautiful earth.
Summers in Redding as a kid on lake Shasta gong fishing and learning about different hobbies.
I recall the times when as a kid, we would hit the golf course, and my absolutely favorite is when we would play with Grandpa Bill, and uncle Alan Baseball and Dave those afternoons and evenings during the holidays and in the summers when visiting Santa Cruz at Santa Cruz Gardens Elementary and learning how to toss a curve ball. One of the most vivid memories that I had was when my family, my Mom, Jeanette. Adam , my dad and I were all in the back of Dave's pick up truck watching the fireworks on the 4th of July, I must have been about 8 or so.
; watching the fireworks blossoming in the sky from red, white and blue, and singing cheers, laughter, happy people all around us and we were all lighting up sparklers. I get a sense of warmth from this memory. Uncle Dave brought us all together to enjoy that moment together.
It was because of you and Grandpa Bill that I learned the difference between the rough, fairway and green, a wood , iron and a putter at a young age. When I was younger, I didn't see much as to why you all liked golf. But now I do, it is such a nice sport to hit and stroll around , go at your own leisure while being able to chat with your buddies, and do so with such amazing skill. I will always remember you for being such a kind hearted person who took care of granny when she had Alzheimer's. Always eager to work on any home based project , an inventor and creative when looking to solve complex problems with a knack for learning how to make life easier for all of us, with dexterity, skillful and ingenuity to help our family live better lives, like with assisting our grandmother when she had Alzheimer's, and managing his own business. And the hard work that thou dedicated to your family and that compassion you showed , to show up for all of us. Dave, I love you and hope that you are playing a beautiful round of golf with Bill and Alan for all of eternity. ❤️

Your nephew, Pablo Orozco-Castro
