We mourn the loss of David Carpenter, who was born on October 15, 1961, and passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024. A dedicated family man and a pillar of strength, he left an indelible mark on everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

David is survived by his loving wife, Mary Carpenter, with whom he shared many wonderful years, creating countless precious memories. His legacy will continue through his children - Sarah Bandy, Cori Lovern, Christy Carpenter, Samantha Carpenter, and Matt Carpenter - all of whom he cherished deeply. He was a source of wisdom, guidance, and inspiration for each of them, and his memory will continue to guide them throughout their lives.

His parents, Stewart Carpenter and Claudette Justice, gave him the values, character, and love for life that enabled him to be the exceptional person he was. Their impact on his life is reflected in his actions, decisions, and the way he lived his life.

We invite those who knew and loved David to join us in a Celebration of Life on February 8, 2025, at 1:00 AM at Fort McAllister State Park. It will be an occasion to share stories, laughter, and tears as we remember the remarkable man who lived, loved, and left a lasting legacy.

While we grieve his physical departure, David’s spirit will forever live on – in each story told, in every memory shared, and in every heart he touched. We take comfort in knowing that his life was filled with purpose and meaning, and his memory will continue to inspire all of us.

We honor David Carpenter – a beloved member of our community, a dedicated family man, and a friend to many. His departure has left a void that cannot be filled, but his enduring spirit will forever be a source of inspiration, strength, and love.
