David's obituary

In Loving Memory of David Mark Carlson

February 9, 1965 - December 9, 2023

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of David Mark Carlson, a devoted Christian, loving father, son,  brother, and uncle. Born on February 9, 1965, in Bloomington, Minnesota, he passed away on December 9, 2023 in Crosslake, Minnesota.

David's legacy is one of unwavering faith, kindness, and love. He is survived by his daughters McKenna Tierney and Alexa Carlson, his son-in-law Tony Tierney, his mother Mary Carlson, brothers Keith and Kent Carlson, his sister-in-law Toni Carlson, his nieces Kaia Friedlund and her husband Michael Friedlund, Kalle Heckmann and her husband Cobi Heckmann, and Laura Hosar.

David's creative, literary mind led him to write a book of poetry, songs, and author three Christian books. He was a natural-born leader with 30 years of experience in management consulting and a purveyor of faith as the founder of Seek Ye First Ministries.

A celebration of David's life will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 20th at 11 AM at Hope Church. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations for a tribute in David's name to the Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge.

May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love he shared so abundantly.

With love,

The Carlson Family
