David's obituary

David Ernest Caccamo, aged 72, passed away on February 7, 2025, in South Carolina. He was born on November 7, 1952, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to the late Samuel and Ruth Caccamo. He relocated to Greensboro, NC in the early 90s and has called it home since then. He was an out-going salesman at heart and spent his career in various fields as a salesman and business developer, connecting with people and helping them to find what they needed. David was a people person, who loved bringing people together over a good home-cooked meal. He loved his children dearly and would tell anyone he met just how proud he was of his kids. He was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed hiking and camping all around the United States. David was a dedicated follower of Christ and dedicated much of his time in service to the church. He is survived by his children, Charlotte Andrews (wife of Joshua), Savannah Demuynck (wife of Nicholas), and Samuel Caccamo; his grandson Thatcher (son of Savannah and Nick) his siblings Linda Detwiler, Deborah Caccamo, Robert Caccamo (husband of Jan), and Samuel Caccamo; his many nieces and nephew; and many cousins. A funeral service will be held on Saturday February 15, 2025 at First Presbyterian Church 617 N Elm Street, Greensboro, NC 27410 at 11:00 am.
