David's obituary
He left behind his two children, Nicolas Joseph of Salem, Massachusetts, and his daughter, Brittany Lynn of Bedford, Massachusetts. Also left behind was his ex-wife and best friend of almost forty years, Holly Ann (Boyden) Saulnier of Bedford, Massachusetts, former resident of Melrose, Massachusetts.
David suffered from Congestive Heart Failure since mid-2006. After battling his disease for nearly fourteen years, with an initial life span at diagnosis of only five years, he passed away due to ventricular failure while watching his favorite hockey team, The Boston Bruins.
David was found by his daughter Brittany and her boyfriend of seven years, Nathaniel Cioffi of Peabody, Massachusetts. Upon finding him, 911 was called and Nathaniel began CPR to try to revive David until emergency services could arrive. Neighbors came to assist the two children. Unfortunately, David had passed by the time CPR was started.
He was taken to Lahey Burlington where he was pronounced deceased.
David was well known by many as the long time DJ for Rollerworld in Saugus, Massachusetts where he had worked since his mid-teens.
During his schooling in Peabody's school system, David received many awards for being an outstanding student and citizen. He graduated from Peabody Veterans Memorial High School and Vocational Shop in 1985.
David was also known for his DJ company formerly known as DMB Entertainment. He prided himself in his 30+ years that he had this company and the life he would bring to the events he played for.
A Celebration of Life for David was held at Stonewood Tavern in Peabody where he was remembered by many family members and friends that David came to know over his short fifty-one years of life.
A headstone will be placed in his honor at his parents' graves at Oakgrove Cemetery in Peabody, Massachusetts by his two children within the year. Per his wishes, David's ashes will be spread on his birthday, June 21, at Rockport Neck.
David had immense pride for his two children, raising them to be the person he was and then some. Nicolas and Brittany humbly remark their gratitude for the overwhelming support and condolences sent to them in their time of struggle and hurt.
David will always be remembered for his smile and smart-alec remarks, along with his love for music and incredible art abilities.
In his passing he was surrounded by his close family and friends. His last day was spent with both children. David was and is loved by many and will continue to live on in his children and best friends.
Daddy, we will always have our drives, our talks, and our memories of our favorite shows. I love you so much. I hope we made you proud.
