David Anthony Booth
October 17, 1935 – September 13, 2024
On Friday, September 13, 2024, David Anthony Booth, loving husband and father, passed away peacefully in his sleep.
David was born in Needles, CA on October 17, 1935. There he attended Needles Union High School. After his graduation in 1953, he joined the United States Army where he completed his
2 year service. Upon concluding his time in the military, David went to college and attended Long Beach State, after college he began his career as an elementary school teacher.
On August 20, 1960, David married his life-long love, Charene (Pauley) Booth. Together they were very active in the Arabian horse community and showed Arabian horses with friends and family for the next 30 years. They lived in Escondido, Ca after they were married where they raised two children, Michael and Janis. They also helped raise Don McCollister and Jim McIntyre, whom they made part of their family.
David retired from teaching after 35 years and moved to Henderson, NV where he was an active member in his community and was on his neighborhood watch committee. He also attended his Catholic church regularly.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charene Diane (Pauley) Booth. He is survived by his children, Michael, Janis, Don and Jim and his beloved niece, Colleen Booth. He is also remembered by his Five grandchildren.
David will be laid to rest in Needles, Ca alongside his wife Charene.
