David's obituary

David "Dave" Blair, 73, of Danville, CA, passed away on February 27, 2023. He is survived by his two daughters Courtney and Jamie, and his grand daughters Mikayla, Tatum, and Emerson.

David was born on April 28th, 1949 to Elwyn and Dorothy Blair  in Oakland. After graduating from Bishop O’Dowd in 1967, he went on to study business at Cal State Hayward. After graduation, he landed his first job as a CPA. Shortly after he became a real estate agent, and got his mortgage brokers license. He opened Mt. Diablo Mortgage in Danville, and operated it for 18 years.

David was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in world.  He absolutely adored his granddaughters.

David loved Maui,  The San Francisco 49ers, The Oakland A’s, fishing in Mexico, and could often be found reading the daily paper, with his Mountain Dew in hand.  He was the best story teller, recounting memories of growing up with 9 siblings, and his high school friends.

Anyone who knew David knew that he would help anyone in need, had a contagious laugh, was a good friend, could tell the best stories, and was there whenever you needed him. He will be greatly missed.

His celebration of life will be held April 29th, details will soon follow.we are asking that everyone comes wearing 49er attire, or red and gold. Love you Dad.
