David's obituary

David H. Beach 74 years old, passed away peacefully on March 30th, 2021, in the comfort of his own home in Sangerville ME, after fighting a long and hard battle. Anyone who knew David would know that he was a very hardworking, kind, and patient man. He started working at the age of 12 and retired by age 68, after working a variety of different jobs. Driving tractor trailer hauling lumber, building furniture at Moosehead Manufacturing, fixing motors of any kind, and cooking breakfast on weekends his last few years of work. David was also in the Army as a National Guard. Anyone who has had the pleasure of working with him or even being his friend is truly blessed. David married his wife Patricia A. Beach in 1967, achieving a long happy marriage of 54 years. They grieved the loss of their daughter Norma-Jean Mae Beach In 2002 due to a tragic car accident and were gifted a beautiful granddaughter to raise Makayla Mae Smart. Kenneth Beach is his only sibling that is still living, David outlived 2 older siblings and 1 younger. David lived a long and healthy life surrounded by the people he loved, and cared for. Even in the last few weeks of his life he was always trying to make his loved ones smile and laugh by cracking jokes and being silly. He kept his personality all the way to the end. Makayla, David’s granddaughter, 19 graduated this year in 2021 and is currently enrolled in a college CNA class to make sure that people like her papa get the proper care they deserve. Makayla cared for David right up until the end and would have continued to do so if he was still here with us. We are grateful for the time that we got with him at home after him being in and out of the hospital for over a year. He’s not in pain anymore or struggling to stay alive and that’s the best gift anyone could ever give to such a wonderful hardworking, husband, father, papa, brother, and uncle. He is finally at peace after a very long, hard year of pain and sicknesses. Gone but never forgotten
