David Battles always took time to say hello to people in the hallway and ask how we were. He didn't come off as most higher up managers do- like they are better than you.

I was very sorry to hear this news. If words could ease the pain for his wife and daughters, I'd speak plenty of them.

Davis loved to play games on his phone and he loved his kids. He was always talking about his family and the fun things they would do. Gonna miss you Dave
Heartfelt condolences to David’s family and friends. May God’s love provide peace, and may memories shared provide comfort.

This past Christmas David took my son and I on an unexpected trip to play frisbee golf. We spent the full day together having fun. He was teaching us how to play and how to use the different discs. I am very thankful for that day because we had a blast.

David Michael Battles, 53, of Dothan Al, unexpectedly passed away on September 8, 2022.

David was born on August 3, 1969 to Lynn and Helen Battles in Cherry Hill, NJ. After graduating from Cherokee High School, he went studied at Monmouth College and ECU. He quickly became a successful warehouse manager.

By the grace of God, he met and married Sarah. They went on to have four beautiful girls, Kayla, Kennedy, Kylie and Kelsey.

David, was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world. He was unendingly proud of Kayla, Kennidy, Kylie, Kelsey and his wife Sarah and always tried his best to support them.

He was a passionate artist. One of favorite times was when he had his family around the dIning room table painting. Often posting their works on Facebook for family to guess who did what. His daughters also possess his artistic talents and were quickly mastering his artistic skills.

Anyone who knew David knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. His past nine months were spent at home with his family, cherishing their new found time together. David was the only son to Helen and Lynn Battles. A son who made them proud and loved. A witty, sarcastic and fun loving brother to Dawn, Deena and Doreen. He was a die hard Philadelphia Eagles fan (proud of their Super Bowl win) and of the Philadelphia Flyers. He loved playing Frisbee golf with his family in the yard and at the park. David was predeceased by Father Lynn Battles. He is survived by Wife: Sarah. Children : Kayla, Kennidy, Kylie and Kelsey. Siblings: Dawn (Bill) Gliesman, Deena (Lawrence) O’Toole and Doreen (Michael) Hess and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

As the family mourns the loss of their father,a go fund me is being set up to assist his family with funeral and other associated costs.

There will be a church service in Dothan, Alabama and a memorial service in Florida however the details are still being finalized.
