Dave was the leader of our wrestling team (1974-75). By happenstance, I talked to our old wrestling coach (Andy)about a year ago and he reflected upon this team ... his first year at Arrowhead. Andy told me he was was ready to give a rousing motivational speech before the conference tournament. As he approached the locker room he heard Dave in the middle of spirited rah-rah to us. Andy said he then simply turned around. I will always remember Dave as a tough, scrappy '45-pounder'.
