David's obituary

David Bailey was born in Groveton, TX on July 17, 1941, to JD and Hazel Bailey, and passed away at his home in Spring, TX on March 14, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Barbara Bailey, daughter Jana Grayson, father JD Bailey, mother Hazel Bailey, brothers Bill and Wayne, sisters Sue and Katy, and sons-in-law Jesse Walker and Steve Grayson.

He is survived by his son Jason Bailey and wife Heather, granddaughter Kristen and husband Jeremy Brown, grandson Travis Grayson, granddaughter Lorelai Bailey, and great grandson Jesse Brown. Along with many other family and friends.

David drove a truck for Central Freight Liners for 45 years. He faithfully served God and his church as an original member; from crushing cans, collecting dimes, to replacing flooring and yard work. He even helped build our current church building. Any time the doors were open, or help was needed, he was there. Everyone who knew him, knew he had a love for "junking" and acts of service. "One man's trash, is another man's treasure" were the words he lived by. He will forever be missed.
