It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Conrad on May 4, 2023. David was born on March 16, 1981, a loving son, brother, and father who touched the lives of many with his kindness and loving spirit.
David graduated from Estacada High School in 1999. After graduation, he landed his first job as a Steel Fabricator for John Shoop of SF Steel Fab. David found more than just a boss in John, he found a lifelong friend, mentor, and “Dad”. He married his High School Sweetheart, Katie in 2002, going on to have two children, Matthew and Aubrey. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Matthew and Aubrey and always tried his best to support them. David and Katie parted ways in 2019 but maintained an inseverable bond holding compassion and gratitude for one another. David was also a passionate Snowmobiler and could often be found in the mountains riding or in the garage preparing for the next ride. David is survived by his ex-wife, Katie Conrad; their children, Matthew and Aubrey Conrad; his mother, Monica Ray; his step-father, Steven Ray; his sister, Stephanie Sylvia; his brother-in-law, Steven Sylvia; and his nephews, Jacob and Nicholas Sylvia.
