David's obituary
DAVID SCOTT AIELLO, 54, (APRIL 9, 1968 – January,11, 2023), of Frederick Maryland, passed away following a short battle with cancer on January 11, 2023 at 11:44 am. He was surrounded by his loved ones.
David is survived by his son, Anthony D. Aiello of Cape Coral, Florida, his mother, Sandra J. Aiello, of Charleston, SC, his SoulMate (23 years), Donna Andrew, of Walkersville, Maryland, his father, Richard (Missy) Aiello, of Frederick Maryland, his two sisters, Jennifer Aiello (Daniele) Menconi, of Frederick Maryland, Victoria Aiello (Sam) Mancuso, of Woodbine, Maryland, and several nieces, and a nephew.
David was a Master Granite Craftsman. He took pride in his craft, and would take on tasks others would not touch. His attention to detail and trained eye shined through in his pieces. There was not a job he would turn down. His incredible talents never ceased to amaze people. If something was broken, you wanted David to fix it. He was, rightfully, very proud of his skills and achievements.
David always had a real bond with his dogs. The energy and love he put into the world was reflected in the mutual admiration he had with his dogs. He had his favorites, but he always had a good pal for life.
David had a real passion for music. He played drums in multiple bands. That led him through some krazi adventures including meeting his partner of 23 years. He also played guitar, piano and loved to sing. Whether it was encouraged or not.
David’s personality could change the atmosphere of a room in seconds. Unique is not a big enough word to describe him. He had a beautiful dark sense of humor that could only be paired with a loving heart as big as his. He threw a curveball into every conversation. Boring was not in his vocabulary. Any of his friends or family will attest to that. He loved to be the center of attention, but he could always share the spotlight. David could make a connection to anyone who would open their heart up to him, regardless of mistakes or differences. If laughter is the best medicine, he should have been a doctor. He left an impression no one could forget.
His love and laughter will always live on.
David wanted for us to celebrate life and not dwell on death. Therefore, no services are planned at this time, per his request. He chose to be cremated. A celebration of life will take place this summer of 2023.
