Three years today, I'm thinking of Dave.  My dear friend and climbing partner extraordinaire, I miss you deeply.  Mary and I are sending love to Nancy, May, and Stephanie, always.

Tonight is the Flagstaff Trash Bash.  Incase anyone didn’t know.   I think there will be a short memorial for Dave at dinner.

David’s kind, warm and welcoming smile was and is my best memory. And the memory of the birthday party he threw for his beloved wife Nancy while we were in China. Somehow he even found what appeared to be a birthday cake 😎😇🥳🎈

Celebration of Life 

Date: Sunday, June 11th 

Time: 1:00 - 5:00 PM | Service to start around 1:30 PM | Open House for the remainder of the event 

Location: 1202 University Ave, Boulder, Colorado (southeast corner of University and Broadway on the CU Boulder campus) 

Parking: There is limited street parking, please plan accordingly. 

Dress: Casual 

There will be some light food and non alcoholic beverages

We met on a wintery Kokanee Glacier Hut in 2008. Conditions were a bit unstable so terrain was limited but we sure had a good time!!

Dear Nancy, Stephanie and May,
I am so very heartsick to hear of Dave's passing... SP just told me and it has been almost 3 months. It was sadly wonderful to look at all the photos and spend time thinking about what an extraordinary person we all had the fortune to share our lives with. My little slice of it was so miniscule compared to yours, and it is still leaving a big hole. That guy knew how to live life and spread joy to the max, and had such a knack for making everyone feel like family. Here's to Dave, with that big heart and brilliant smile we will never forget.
