YO Dave—Miss you homie, bombing with you as kids back in DC in the 90s will forever be a great memory!  You were a real beast bomber much respect.

I'm just gutted to hear Dave is gone. We met at SFAI in '94 and got up to all kinds of trouble wandering SF at night. We lost touch around the turn of the century, but his smile, the twinkle in his eye is as vivid as if it were yesterday. He was such a sweet kid, full of the joy of living, totally unfazed by anything really, and of course an amazing artist. If there is an SF memorial I'd very much like to know

very sad & shocked to hear of Dave’s passing and I offer my sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. I was Pepe Martinezs girlfriend from 93-97 and Dave was a big part of my time with Pepe. he was always very kind to me and loving. I heard someone else say he was ahead of his time with all of his pictures and media and I believe that to be true. He was truly talented. I would have liked to reconnect with him again and reminisce. Rest In Peace, Dave Schubert. I will never forget you.
