Having been married for 20 years, dealing with many US Navy deployment, 2 wonderful loving children, many, many friends and relatives I can truly say he was a great man. Always willing to help anyone. He was a good husband and father. When our friends speak of him they all say " Dave was such a nice guy". 

Things change and life goes on as did our, separately.  But I will always love that he gave me my very loving and caring children. My heart breaks that you Kevin and Trisha have to go through loosing your father so early in life. I am here for you if you need me. I love you both so much. Rest in peace David Lee Madden, give grandma a kiss from me. Thank you for your 21 years of service to our country.  FAIR WINDS AND FOLLOWING SEAS.
