Lit a Candle today at church for Dave (BWD)
... then Dane and Derek brought out Dave’s ashes..
Dave was involved with boys surfing, baseball an other sports. I remember Derek cracking a baseball when he was little over a couple of houses in their back yard on 10th street. On some beach days with derek, my daughter brittany who is 6 mos younger, her uncle Davey would take her on the boogie board. She felt safe with him. We shared lots of times with the Largent family. He was taken too soon. May you rest in peace, Dave. With much love to the boys, Aunt Jamie & Brittany❤
So sorry to hear about Dave's passing. I worked with him at the Daily Breeze. Dave was always upbeat and ready to help whenever it was needed. I will never forget him walking around at work practicing his golf swing. He spoke of his boys often with his big grin and lots of pride. May we all follow his example by living our life fully with love and purpose.

Dave and Michele my sister in law are both in heaven now
Very sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. He was such a great guy with the best energy to be around. What a huge smile he had! I remember the first time I saw Dave surf and was in awe of how such a big guy looked so graceful and at ease on a wave.

After many years of surfing and friendship, BWD proudly served as the best man at my wedding in 1988. It was a great day but difficult to look as handsome as Dave did in a well fitted suit. He was a great friend who always encouraged me to paddle out on the big days. RIP my good friend.
In response to "What was the most fun you ever had with Dave?"
To Derek and Dane,
Your dad beamed when he spoke about you both. You were his pride and joy. He was loved by so many fabulous people. We will miss him. We will never forget him. It is because of your dad that Jack and I were blessed to have life-long friends and life-long residual income. God Bless You, Kandra and Jack
