Dave's obituary

Dave Draggon, 60, of Tempe, AZ, passed away on April 20, 2024 after a battle with cancer.

Dave was born on June 4, 1963 to Astor and Delrose Draggon in Kingston Jamaica.

After graduating from St Andrew Technical High School  in 1979 he moved to the United States where he served 4 years in the United States Air Force.  After returning home from the military, he studied at UNLV where he studies software engineering. After graduation, he landed his first job with Motorola where he met Avia Morgan. They later married and have two childre;  Kaschana and Kwame Draggon. 

Dave was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Kaschana and Kwame, and always tried his best to support them.


Dave was also passionate about soccer, and could often be found at the soccer field on Sundays, when he wasn’t at home. He was also a lover of track and field and never missed Pen Relay.

 Anyone who knew Dave knew that he was the most loving father a family could ask for. Dave was predeceased by  his father Astor Draggon . He is survived by  Mother Delrose , Sisters Maxine, Carline, Laverne, Allison, brother Leighton Sr.,  Nieces Deborah, Leitavia, Brittany, Nomeka, and Nephews Mario, Ashton , Omar and Leighton Jr. along with a host of family and friends.
