Daryl's obituary

Daryl John Prater was born on March 16th, 1973 to Cynthia Cummings and Gerald Prater in Salt Lake City Utah. He passed away early in his home on December 29th, 2024, Daryl was a man who lived on his own path. He is survived by his wife Kristina Coles, and his children Conner , Brynnlee, Kymbr Dylan, Erica, and Enrique. He was a caring grandfather to his 3 grandchildren, Adisen, Drayven, Julius, Daxton, Kaizen, Akari, Nikolai , Saphira , and Leonitus . He was a "big" brother and protector to all of his siblings, Valerie, Melanie, Billy, Kelly, and Sean who he loved and cared for deeply. As well as an Uncle to many, Brittney, DJ, Hailey, Ryan, Jackson, Eli, Ian, Mickey, William, Meg, and then some he found along the way.

Daryl was a man who enjoyed being free, he never wanted to be tied down to anything. He lived his life the only way he knew how too and he loved many along the way. He enjoyed drawing, writing, tattooing and cooking. He was a friend to many, he helped pull people out of the darkest times. He was someone you could always confide in because he held no judgement against others, he saw the world in a different light. In no way was he a saint, he lived his life on the edge and did things most people would never consider. He ran on adrenaline and hope, and never looked back. He was well known for good and bad reasons, and loved for good and bad reasons. He was a true protector and would do whatever he had to for those he loved.

Memorial services will be posted as soon as possible, we are leaning towards doing a celebration of life in the spring of 2025.
