Daryl's obituary

Daryl Lewis was 64 years old. He was born on July 26, 1957 in Engelwood, NJ to Eva Kay Lewis and Jesse C Lewis. He took his journey to the next life on November 6, 2021 after a long bout with cancer in Decatur Ga.  He will be survived by his ex wife Jerilyn Lewis, his three sisters; Stephanie Pittman, Alice Lewis and Shaunda Johnson as well as his uncle Pastor Kelly E Brown and aunts Antonette Temple and Cynthia Gamble. Daryl did not have children but he had two nephews, one niece and several younger cousins ranging in ages 60-2months. Daryl was a true free spirit. After graduation high school, he joined the military and he received a Bachelor’s degree in Business. Daryl was married to his first wife while deployed in Germany. Daryl did not let one minute of day pass without enjoying it. He was known to be anywhere in the world at any given time. He loved the beach and was a self proclaimed “beach bum”. His dying wish was to return to the beach and that we shall do. Please help us celebrate his Home Going on November 26, 2021. Daryl said “when I die… have fun, love and enjoy each other. Don’t be sad for me because I am finally the true free spirit  I always wanted to be”.
