Darryl "DJ" Johnson, 30, of Marrero, LA, passed away on December 16, 2023. Born on January 29, 1993, in New Orleans, he was the beloved son of Marie Jones and her husband Darrell Jones. He is also survived by his sister Samira Williams and brother Derrick Jones.

DJ attended O. Perry Walker High School and later pursued higher education at Louisiana State University. He had a fulfilling career as a Deputy at the Jefferson Parish Police Department, where he dedicated himself to serving and protecting his community.

In his free time, DJ enjoyed horseback riding and farming. He had a passion for the outdoors and cherished spending time with his family. DJ was a devoted family man, always prioritizing the well-being and happiness of his loved ones.

All services for DJ will be announced on Facebook. The funeral home assisting with his passing is Greenwood Funeral Hall, located in New Orleans.
