It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Darryl Clarke, a man with a larger than life personality, on April 27, 2025. Born on August 9, 1961, Darryl will be fondly remembered for his kindness towards his friends, his enthusiasm for life, and his vibrant interests. Member of The Canadian Armed Forces
Darryl had a deep fondness for food and drink, particularly pizza and ice-cold cola. His zest for life spilled over into his vibrant selection of favorite activities. An ardent reader, he also enjoyed engaging in working on his models and watched sports passionately, especially his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.
He was a connoisseur of music, with Gun n Roses and Pink Floyd being his bands of choice. His love for visual storytelling was evident in his favorite genre of movies, that being mob and war cinema. However, Darryl's interests were not just confined to the indoors. He loved spending time at the local beaches, a spot he held dear.
There was always a bit of a romantic in Darryl, reflected in his favorite color, dark blue. His passion for literature was inclined towards war narratives, a genre he found deeply compelling. His recreational activities were also colored by his love for sports, most prominently, his loyal support of the Dallas Cowboys.
Darryl is survived by his sister, Kelly Stratton and his Daughter Kimberly Clarke and his two granddaughters , his nephew Raymond Stratton and niece Selena Lopes and great nephew. He was predeceased by his father, Darryl Sr Clarke and his mother Cami Stratton His relationships and his interests were the building blocks of a life well-lived and a personality that will be deeply missed.
Darryl's warmth, his passion for his interests, and his vibrant personality were not just traits but a legacy of kindness and enthusiasm that he left behind. His absence is deeply felt, and he will forever be missed.
