Hello Pam

This is Cindy Mervin, I think you will remember me. Something reminded me that today was your Dad's birthday. I lost touch with your Mom & Dad. I believe due to your Dad's illness, he was not up to company and unfortunately we lost touch. Needless to say I was shocked when I found this notice. I am very sorry to read of his passing. Your Dad was a good friend and we had many laughs when we worked at IBM. Your Dad was a very dedicated worker and was always looking for ways to improve the work environment for his coworkers. How is your Mom doing? Please tell her I said Hello. It would have meant a lot to me to have attended your Dad's celebration of life.

Sincerely

Cindy

So sorry for your loss Barb and your family. I had the pleasure of caring for him . Darryl will be missed by many here at work. You and Darryl made a big impact to all that spoke with you both. I thank you  and God for coming into my world. I am privileged to have had you both in my life. Though for a short few years. Hugs

I was so sorry to hear that we’ve lost a fine man.  Please give your Mom and David a hug from me.
We’re sorry to hear about your dad Pam.  I remember being with him quite a few times at school functions and Brownies with you and Dana.  He was such a nice man.  Our condolences to you, your mom and David.  Jim and Sharon Moodie

I am so sorry to hear about your father’s passing, Pam.  I have a fond memory of dancing with him at your wedding and listening to him talk about his accomplished and beautiful daughter- his words. My thoughts are with you and the rest of your family.

I was privileged to have such a compassionate, kind, and upbeat uncle. Uncle Darryl was smart, generous, and always brought humour to the day. I have fond memories of going to Expo 86 with Darryl and family (one day was a torrential downpour and Darryl found us ponchos!).

His light will continue to shine in all of us.

Sending thoughts of peace, comfort, and healing.

Michelle (Ryan & Liam) Ward

Uncle Darryl was an amazing uncle who could always be counted on during difficult times. He was also very festive and fun during Boxing Day celebrations at his home. Uncle Darryl was a resourceful gentleman whose good-natured temperament was remarkably consistent. What a blessing to grow up and have his influence over the decades.

Much love,

Laura (and family)

Pam and family,

Our deepest condolences on your father’s passing. Keep him close in your thoughts and he will always be with you.    Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time
