Darrin's obituary
In Loving Memory of Darrin Dwayne McCall
Darrin Dwayne McCall, known affectionately to all as "Dee," was born on February 24, 1965, in Jamaica, Queens. Darrin ultimately found his true home and heart in Brooklyn, where he built a life anchored by his strong faith and devotion to family. Raised in a loving Christian household by his mother, Bonnie Daniels-McCall, and father, Robert McCall, Darrin's foundational values of faith and family remained the constants throughout his life.
He attended South Shore High School and carried a unique love for working with his hands and a masterful grasp of all things electronic. Dee could fix almost anything, whether it was tackling electrical or plumbing challenges, meticulously repairing a washing machine, or figuring out the intricate mechanics of a multi-disc CD player. His skills with electronics and machinery were unmatched. This passion for taking things apart and putting them back together defined his professional life and made him the go-to person for anyone who needed a creative solution.
Above all, Dee was deeply dedicated to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter for his children, Trent (Joy) of Woodbridge, Connecticut, Victoria (Richard) of West Babylon, New York, and his beloved grandchildren, Timothy, Tison, Leilani, and Teigan. He is also survived by his dear siblings, David McCall of Brooklyn, New York and Audrey McCall of Brooklyn, New York, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends - who will miss his kindness, technical ingenuity, and spirit.
After the service, cremation will take place. Darrin's ashes will be kept close by those who loved him. We find peace in knowing that while his earthly body returns to dust, his spirit rests safely in the arms of our Savior. Darrin Dwayne McCall will always be loved and deeply missed.
