Darren's obituary
We mournfully announce the peaceful departure of Darren Floyd on August 9, 2023. Born on July 8, 1966, Darren lived a life filled with laughter, love, and generosity. A beacon of care in his family, Darren will always be remembered as a loving, caring, and funny individual who showed a heart large enough to encompass all who were privileged to know him.
Darren is survived by his sisters, Danielle Trawick, Denise Ganaway, Debra Freeman, Dawn Moore, Dewanna Connelly, and DeLisa Baker; and his brothers, Daryl Harden and David Harden. All of whom will remember Darren for his benevolent nature and unconditional love. His legacy is rooted in the valuable lesson he shared to love one another. Darren's inherent spirit of giving, caring, and laughter is deeply imprinted in the hearts of those who were close to him.
Though Darren is no longer with us physically, his love for spending time with family and friends will always be remembered. His boundless love was also extended to those in need, demonstrating his large heart and compassionate nature. Darren's sincere love and care will continue to live and thrive through the lives of those he touched.
Darren was predeceased by his mother, Janet Floyd, his father, Herman Floyd, his brother, Dion Floyd, and his sister, Dana Williams. Their love and lessons shaped Darren into the caring and loving man we all knew and cherished.
