Darrell Lynn Turri Sr. passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022, after a three-year long battle with colon cancer. He was 56. Just as he dealt with all experiences in life, Darrell managed his illness with strength and courage. In his final days, he was surrounded by his friends and family.

Darrell was born on May 28, 1965, in Ukiah, California. He moved to Chico in 1990 and shortly after founded TNT Painting. Over the last thirty-two years, his business has operated throughout Northern California.

He was a trusted friend to many. He loved time with his family and friends especially when it involved the outdoors. In his spare time, you could find him on a campground cooking for his friends and family, or on his side-by-side exploring new trails.

Darrell is survived by his two sons Darrell Lynn Turri Jr. and Johnathan Wayne Eugene Turri. Private services will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Ukiah, California. People wishing to honor Darrell’s memory are invited to make donations to the American Cancer Society or Colon Cancer Coalition.
