Darlene's obituary
Calling hours will be 3:00-6:00pm on Sunday, November 17 at Farmington United Methodist Church
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, November 18th at Farmington United Methodist Church.
Darlene was born to Gilbert Jr. and Jacqueline Ackerly on June 18, 1956 and grew up in East Northport, NY. She married Martin Teller on May 22, 1977 and has forced him to dance at weddings since. She graduated from SUNY Geneseo and worked in the fields of social work and education. She was known for gathering her family together and growing love. She continued to enjoy sledding, camping, softball, and swimming with family and friends through last summer.
Darlene is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gilbert Ackerly III.
She is survived by her husband, Martin Teller, her children Jason Teller and Gabbi and Ryan Seeber and her eight grandchildren, Arriana, Ilona, Elijah, Natalie, Isaiah, Jackson, Josiah, and Joshua. She is also survived by her beloved stepmother, Flora Ackerly and her siblings Duane Ackerly, Elizabeth Ackerly, and Cheryl Stricko along with many other beloved family members.
