I met Darlene when we were working for C&P telephone company. It was one of those things that you only have once in a lifetime....we met and it felt like we had known eachother for years. Darlene was like a sister to me. We were together alot!Â
We lived together for a year or so. I had one son and she had two. We had fun everyday. It didn't matter where we went or what we were doing, we laughed and enjoyed our friendship. We went to Ocean City every year for 3 or 4 years for our 3-day cleanse. What a riot those trips were! Each trip had a different experience.Â
Mike and Darlene drove their motor home to NY for my son's wedding so we had room to take my Mom and my Aunt with us.Â
We had several trips, laughing the entire time. We had so much fun together.
I really miss Darlene, as she was as close as any sister could be.
RIP beautiful!

We bonded with Darlene over our love for animals, and thus grew a great friendship. She introduced us to her beloved dog, Toby, and even helped us find our dog, Zeva. Zeva and Toby became best friends. We had fun walking our dogs, dining out with her and Mike, going to the movies, shopping and talking on the phone.
Darlene always went out of her way to help her friends, clients and their animals. She would even receive deliveries, water plants, or check on whatever else we forgot or couldn’t do when we were out of town.
She loved her family and often talked about how proud she was of her granddaughters.
We will miss her dearly, but she will always remain in our memories and hearts forever.
