It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Darla Sumners. Darla, lovingly also known as DJ, was born on April 4, 1942, and peacefully left us on May 24, 2025 surrounded by her family.
Mother had a witty personality, described by loved ones as being smart, decisive, compassionate, and loving. She taught all around her lessons of love,strength, how to overcome adversity, and the importance of a strong work ethic …
