Dear McDonald Family,

My heart aches for this huge loss. I am thinking of you and sending so much love and hugs. Feel so fortunate to have known Darin and your family growing up. So many wonderful memories and laughter. Darin definitely had a way of making everyone feel special. He will be sorely missed. Love you all.

I love you DJ. I can’t convey my thoughts any better than all the friends and family have done here about what an amazing man Darin was. So funny, kind, energetic, loyal, caring…A smile and laugh that would make your day. I also add that he had some amazing dance moves!!

Some of my earliest memories are with him and the McDonald family. Yearly trips to Tahoe at our Lakeland Village condo…and daily trips to the candy store (Shelly’s?) for us kids. For those couple days each year, I got to be part of the McDonald boys and it was awesome.

Rich, Sharon, Kevin and Ryan I love you too. Your family means the world to the Stewart family. I am absolutely heartbroken for your loss.
