I want you and the boys to know - you’ve been in my heart every second of the way.

I also wanted to thank you for always making me feel like I was part of your beautiful family.

Although recently distant with your ID relocation - you’ve all been living in my heart, rent free.

The news has been very difficult to swallow but all I can really think of is you.

I was lucky enough to be his friend, classmate, teammate and roommate.

DJ and I shared the prime of our youth together in many ways. I’m blessed to have experienced that.

I’m at a loss for words and I wish I could hug you all.

Selfishly, because I need your hugs too.

I hope we can connect soon albeit under these devastating circumstances.

Really can’t thank you enough for being such an amazing and loving mom to all your boys. You brought up quality humans.

Blessed to be in your life even during the very worst moments.

Sherry and I send you our love and deepest sympathy. Darin was a light…he filled a room with joy and laughter from a very young age!! Some of my fondest memories of my college years were spending weekends with the McDonald clan. The weekends were filled with a lot of laughter and great fun!! Sherry and I wish you all love, peace and the assurance that you are surrounded by people who love you… and loved Darin as you go through this difficult time. We look forward to celebrating Darin’s beautiful life with you in person very soon!!!
