Mr. Danny Mac Thompson, age 79, of Alston, died Saturday, June 25, 2022, at his home following a lengthy illness. Born January 11, 1943, in Alston to the late Dan Thompson and Fay McDaniel Thompson, he made Alston his home all of his life. He was a graduate of Montgomery County High School and served in the Army National Guard Reserve. Earlier in his life, he worked with Federal Pacific in Vidalia, and later retired …
