Danny's obituary
Danny Edward Shores Sr, 74, of Mechanicsville,
Virginia passed away on August 6, 2023 at the
beautiful Hospice House in Bon Air, VA after a
short battle with cancer. He is survived by his children;
Marilyn (Benny), Danny Jr (Michelle) and Charlie. His
grandchildren; Chris, Eain, Megan, Anna and Danny III
(Trey). His only precious great grandchild; Hunter Grace.
His sister; Marian (Dallas) and countless cousins, nieces,
nephews and extended family members. His is preceded
in death by his beloved wife, Judy Carolyn and his
parents; Charlie and Lucy Shores. Danny loved blue grass
music, Elvis, Nascar racing, Washington Football, fishing
and spending time with his friends, especially John and
Sybil. He always looked forward to his time at Gus’ but
was the happiest when he was with his grandchildren!
His family will host a Celebration of Life on Saturday
August 12, 2023 at Battlefield Green Clubhouse 6211
Rolling Forest Circle, Mechanicsville, VA from 2-5pm.
