2019, Disneyland Park, Disneyland Drive, Anaheim, CA, USA
In May of 2019, we had the pleasure of sharing time with Happy in the happiest place on earth: Disneyland! To celebrate his grandson, Blake, on his 5th birthday (son of Brandi and Ted). We'll never forget that time with him and his most devoted and lovely wife, Charlotte. They were like kids that day together... loving life, loving Disney, loving family, loving each other... Be happy, is what I will always remember every May 10th for the rest of my life.
We send our deepest love and condolences to Happy's family and friends. We can't wait to meet him again in heaven.
Even though I have not worked with Danny for 30 years, I have never forgotten him. When my father passed away, Danny came to the house and he and another gentleman bought all my dad's guns. Danny also gave my dad's dog, Rusty, a home. My mother and I could never thank him enough for all he did. Charlotte, did Danny ever share the story of your dinner at Black Angus with the kids? I believe it was when his mother came for a visit, lol. Every time I have the opportunity to eat there I think of him and laugh. He may have exaggerated a bit, but I laughed so hard. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
My family & I are sending our love on prayers every moment since we got the news. We love you all & will continue to pray for you during this challenging time. I wanted to share a story, more so sweet memories I had of Happy Daddy...
Dear happy daddy, we all love you & miss you already! I remember in elementary school you & GG inviting my sister & I to stay up at the ranch with you all. We creates so many amazing childhood memories in the ranch from riding 4 wheelers for the first time, went down to a lake near by to collect rocks for your home and woke up early in the morning to eat breakfast as a family. (I believe your family liked bacon because I remember helping to make a lot of bacon!) That was the coolest experience to enjoy time with you & your family & enjoy the beautiful ranch you build ground up. It brings tears to my eye thinking of all the lives you impacted . Without you even know it, you were like a grandfather figure to us too. Even years later since I’ve been married & moved I still remember how funny you are & the joy you brought in every room. We are eternally grateful for the amount of love you poured into my families lives. I am so blessed to have met you, I am so proud of the legacy you have left behind & grateful for your life!
