We are so saddened to hear of Danny's passing. I rented Danny's studio apartment for 5 years starting in 2014. He was a great person and will be truly missed. My wife and I were so thankful he was able to attend our daughter's first birthday this past June, as he saw the start of our relationship while I was living on his property. For him to celebrate this milestone with our growing family was very special. We are sending love and prayers to everyone who knew and loved Danny. He was truly a remarkable guy.

Danny was my teammate on the American Eagles Christian Outreach Football Team in 1991. We played 5 games in the Soviet Union and the Czech Republic. He became my brother then and has remained so over the years. He was a great athlete. Danny was always positive; always looking for the good in every situation. He kept us all informed about how everyone was doing in life. He always had a kind word for anyone and everyone. The world just lost another saint! My husband Eric and I are devastated by the news of Danny's passing. He dropped by our house about a month ago, just to check in. That was Danny! He was a close friend for over 30 years. Danny had the biggest heart. He loved our family, supported our boys in their activities: scouting and sports (particularly Dons sports!), and ate many meals at my table. Boy could he eat! There was a time when our family was transitioning back to Santa Barbara and he took us in for 6 weeks until we could secure housing. Only a true friend would do something like that. We loved him dearly and will miss him. God Bless you, Danny P!
