Danny Joe Bender was born in Longmont, CO. His parents DuWayne and Jo Beth Bender welcomed Danny on May 10, 1964. His passing was December 27th, 2023. Danny resided in Bailey, CO

Danny graduated from Alameda High School in 1982

Danny loved the outdoors that is what peaked his interest in moving from Lakewood, CO to Bailey, CO. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, boating, hiking, 4wheeling and racing his car. Danny in his earlier years even tried motocross racing but after a hip displacement he decided it was not for him. Danny learned his big game hunting skills from his father DuWayne, they spent many hunting trips together in the Colorado mountains. Later in life Danny passed on his hunting knowledge to his son Josh. Danny also had a passion in racing his car at Bandimere Speedway, he shared this passion with his son Josh and nephew Jeff. Every once in awhile his uncle Chuck would join the fun at the track. Another great joy was to take his jeep or side by side 4 wheeling. He spent several trips to Moab, UT and many trips to the Colorado mountains with his nephew's Jason and Jeff.

Danny's work experience started with his job at Pella Windows. In 2005 he started his own business Woodcrafters Remodeling. His business was everything to him, Danny took very much pride in his work and always wanted the customer to be happy.

Danny will be missed dearly by his family and friends. His memory will fill our hearts.

Danny is proceeded in death by his parents DuWayne & Jo Beth Bender, grandparents Arno & LaVerne Bender and aunt Sharon Schooley.

Danny is survived by his sister Tammy Miller (Tim, Jason and Jeff), his son Joshua Bender (Melissa), his daughter Christina Dirks (Kevin, grandson Levi and granddaughter), uncle and aunt Chuck & Bev Bender, and aunt Susie Bender (Marcy).
