Agustina's obituary

Agustina B. Mitchell
Agustina B. Mitchell, age 73 passed away peacefully after a long struggle Rheumotoid Arthritis on August 4, 2021. She was born April 26, 1948 in Bocas del Toro, Panama to her loving parents Antonio and Ermelinda Mitchell. Agustina attended school in Bocas del Toro.

Agustina grew up in Panama and traveled her family to the United States. Although she moved locations, she was one who kept the party of life and the family together. Agustina loved to love people. Her hands were rarely still as she was always cooking and feeding others in her free time. She also shared her love of food with her children and grandchildren. Whether it was arroz con pollo, yuca fritas, or yummy upside down pineapple cake. Agustina always looked forward to cooking for the ones she loved. She also enjoyed passing her time sewing, completing word puzzles and coloring.

For many years, Agustina worked as a sales person at Estrella del Este in Panama city, Panama. She also worked as a nurses aide privately with families who needed someone to care for their love ones. She was driven by a passion to help others and believed the world could always use one more kind-hearted person.

Agustina is survived by her son David and his wife Marilyn, her daughter Daniska and partner Richard, and her four grandchildren Yamil, Desire, Gabriela and Michael. She is also survived by her siblings, nieces and nephews.

All of those she loved and touched deeply. Please join us celebrating her life Saturday September 11, 2021, between 7:00 p.m. at Iglesia 2da Siloe 712 N. Broadway, Yonkers, NY 10701.
