Danielle's obituary
Danielle Dewey, known in the SCA as Viscountess Violet Tailyeour, OP, was born December 22, 1985, in San Diego, CA, USA, and unexpectedly left this mortal plane on March 24, 2023. A beloved wife, mother, and daughter, Danielle is survived by her husband, Roy Dewey; their son, Tristan Dewey; and her father, David Denton.
As an accounting genius, Danielle had a sharp mind and excelled professionally. Outside of work, she had a true passion for the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), an international living history group dedicated to recreating the arts and skills of the pre-17th century world. Danielle also enjoyed sewing, jewelry making, and glass work, often combining these hobbies with her love of the SCA.
Danielle's personality was truly unique, characterized as bubbly, warm, witty, gothy, funny, and caring. She had an innate ability to connect with people and bring joy to those around her. Danielle cherished spending time with her friends and family, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial for Danielle will be held on April 16, 2023, at 8:00 PM, at 117 W Harrison Ave. Another memorial will take place on July 16, 2023, at 1:00 AM in Anchorage, and a third memorial will be held on August 5, 2023, at 1:00 AM in Slippery Rock.
