We only just now learned of Dan’s passing. It’s hard to believe after knowing him for so many years. Our hearts go out to you Jo, Jessica, Natalie and all those who will be missing him. We wish you peace, healing and endless fond memories.  Carolyn and Tony

So sorry to hear about Dan. Such a lovely caring man and always had a good word to say to you. He had a big heart.

I am sorry to hear of Dan’s passing….  We went to school together in Florida and worked on Drosophila under Dave Kuhn….    Love to the family….

My deepest condolences to you, Jo, and your family. I can only imagine how heartbroken you are. He'll always be remembered for his warm and kind spirit, his sharp intellect, and his generous humor. He'll be greatly missed.

I'm very saddened to hear of Dan's passing. I have wonderful memories of the great times I had at UCI in the mid nineties. Dan was a superb scientist and all around great guy, always willing to help. He will be missed. Please accept my condolences.

Our last hurrah trip before C…

Our last hurrah trip before COVID was to Disneyworld with Pam, Dan's sister. We spent the week exploring the various parks but spent the most time in Dan's favorite, Epcot, since he loved trying cuisines from around the world!

The 2015 Inscent Inc. lab family! Dan founded Inscent in 2000 where he researched how insects can be controlled with small molecules. He has since trained 15 lab members from around the globe in his Biotechnology start-up.

I’m so sorry to hear of Daniel’s passing. We grew up together and went to the same elementary through high school. Daniel and his family lived at the other end of my street in Medulla. Sending love and prayers to the family and friends.

I’m so heartbroken to hear of his passing. He, Pamela and I grew up in Medulla. I knew he would always grow up to do great things in life!  I always thought he was such a geek while we were playing in cow pastures.  I remember he, Jerry, and Chris were great friends!!  Prayers to his family for love and strength during this time!!

Much of my early adult life was spent with Dan here in Florida as you know and the many memories have come flooding back this morning as well as regrets of not staying  in touch

Dan lived his dream in California and was completed when he married you and the two of had the girls
