Daniel Paul Waltz, 74, of Lafayette, surrounded by family, passed away peacefully, Friday, April 19th, 2024. Dan was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Lafayette, Indiana.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Lenore Waltz, brother Paul Waltz, sisters-in-law Fran Waltz and Mary Jane Waltz. Dan is survived by daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter, Jessica, Paul, and Maggie Stone, son and daughter-in-law, James and Paula Waltz, brothers, Bob, Jim, and Chris Waltz, sisters and their husbands, Stephanie and Bob Stark, Andrea and Vince Martinez, and sister-in-law Gemma Waltz. Dan enjoyed his 20 nieces and nephews, 19 great nieces and nephews and his great-great nephew. Dan attended Archbishop Alter Highschool in Kettering, Ohio and graduated from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. Dan greeted everyone as if they were newfound friends. He was active in his church, he had a great sense of humor, and he was a talented artist. His greatest joy was spending time with his beloved granddaughter, Maggie. He will be missed dearly.
