My deepest condolences to the Valarde Family. Daniel and I were co-workers at Trader Joe's for a handful of years. He was always kind to me, sharing his smile and warmth. He was a true team member in work as I'm sure he was in his personal life, there to boost the spirits of everyone for the good of the team. His love of his family, his country, his culture, and soccer were inspiring. I shall always remember how he bonded with customers as if he never knew a stranger. May his soul rest in peace and may his spirit blaze on.

Very sad to hear about Daniel's illness.  I sought his line at Trader Joe's, as he always chatted so kindly, with such care (made me feel like I was his only customer!).  My prayers for peace for his family and friends, the heart hurts yet heals in a new way.

I always enjoyed seeing Daniel each week at Trader Joe’s. I never met anyone who had such a joy for life as Daniel did. Always warm and outgoing, never met a stranger and if he ever had a bad day, you would never know it. He would beam with pride whenever he talked about his beautiful daughters and their accomplishments. My deepest sympathy to Sandra, Daniela and Camila.

Daniel, rest easy my friend, you will be greatly missed.
