Missing you Dan during the holidays & on your birthday.  Your memory will last forever in the hearts of everyone that knew you.
I am so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. I have known Dan for over 23 years and we have had a lot of laughs together (mainly on the golf course). He loved his son Michael dearly and was a proud father talking of him every time we met. My deepest condolences to Dan's family. I had a lot of respect for Dan as a business person who managed and grew his stores extremely well.  I just want you to know I really enjoyed my friendship with Dan and I always had a smile on my face when we spoke. He lived life to the fullest and was a terrific adventurer. A great example to us all. He will be missed.
Peak Alarm Company, Inc. would like to offer our deepest and most sincere condolences to all the family and friends of Dan Slaugh.

He was a wonderful, intelligent, hard-working person that our family has had the privilege of knowing for many years.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Dan, his family and all his friends as we morn his loss together.
So sorry to hear of Dan’s passing. 31 years ago, I started calling on Dan in behave of Coca Cola and developed a great relationship over these many years. Condolences to all the family. Knowing Dan, he is having fun no matter what.  WayneO

158 miles an hour. Dan is a fine example of how to be in this world. He called me one evening, wanted to know what I was doing. Nothing in particular. Want to go to Wendover with me? Why not,eh?

Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR Twin Turbo, he got that thing wound up to 158 indicated on our way there, my job was to keep the hash pipe loaded....

We had big fun back then, miss you Dan!

I struggle to put words to the feelings of my heart. I believe that may take some time. Even I failed to realize what an impact Dans life and the way he lived and loved it had on me. I will find the words and when I do I shall share them. For now I send my love and pray for peace and comfort to envelop you. Donation made to mended hearts foundation in honor of Dan.  With love and regret, Connie Gold

My sincere condolences to Dan's family, and all the employees at Resort Retailers.  I had the pleasure to work with Dan the last 11 years with Tesoro/Marathon.  He was a great man, a great business man, and a good friend.  He will be truly missed by all that worked with and knew him.  I have many fond memories of playing golf with Dan, and working through several business deals.

Rest in Peace my friend.  Until we meet again...

May 24, 2012

Dan was invited to go Skydiving with the RedBull daredevils up near Ogden Utah.  He asked me to come to join him.  I was a bit apprehensive about jumping so I brought my nephew Ryan as a "stand-in".   Dan treated my nephew as if he was one of his own kids.  They got along great.  After the jump, those two wouldn't stop talking for months about how fun and exciting it was to jump out of the plane.  Their adrenaline ran for days.  His facebook header even highlights this jump.  Dan was so full of life and he lived it to the fullest every day!

-Note to Family-Dan purchased a full video of his jump and has it somewhere on DVD.

Our sincere sympathies to all of Dan's family and friends. For those who don't know me, I was one of Dan's Delta Chi brothers. We pledged Delta Chi in the Spring on 1983 and quickly became friends. In August of 2018, me and my wife Karen went to Maui, HI for our wedding anniversary. Dan and Michael happened to be in Maui when they were in port on a Hawaiian cruise. Dan graciously offered to take us to Dinner for our anniversary and would not take no for an answer. This was one of the great times that I spent with Dan and highlights one of his greatest qualities, thoughtfulness. Dan was thoughtful, generous, kind, outgoing and a hell of a lot of fun. He will be greatly missed. We have been greatly blessed knowing Dan and we offer our prayers and support to all of you.
