Daniel “Danny” Stewart Simpson (44) of Conifer, Colorado died peacefully on August 1st, 2025 after bravely fighting Leukemia for 6 months before the disease made fighting impossible. Danny is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, R. D. Simpson and Kathryn Simpson, his maternal grandparents Bob and Mary Stewart, uncle John Simpson, uncle and aunt Steve and Sue Stewart, and cousin Ryan Stewart. Danny leaves behind his wife Elizabeth, son Holden (4), daughter Cora (1), parents Robert and Mary Sue Simpson, sister Daron, nephew Ned, and niece Marlo. In addition Danny leaves his blue family at the Lakewood Police Department, and numerous dedicated and loyal friends.

Services to honor Danny will be held on August 11th at West Bowles Community Church in Littleton. Funeral will begin at 11am. Close friends and family are invited to join the family for a reception at the church following the service.
