Celebrated Dan’s birthday at …
Celebrated Dan’s birthday at a nearby brewery. He would be 45. It still feels unreal sometimes, but I’m really grateful we can keep celebrating him with the people who loved him — sharing stories, laughing, and keeping his memory close. Here’s to Dan, always part of us💕

Today Dan would have been 45 …
1986
Today Dan would have been 45 years old. Here he is celebrating his 5th birthday and playing musical chairs with his friends. That year, Easter was a week after his birthday. He had breakfast with the Easter Bunny, wearing his favorite shirt again. We miss you every day, Dan!

It was a special visit on Saturday, Nov. 9th with Dan's parents, Alan and Melissa, when they shared Dan's Celebration of Life video with their Northern Virginia family. For me, it encapsulated the total joy Dan brought to his parents...how Dan lived every day to the fullest... and the love and happiness he shared with Nagisa. Dan himself was the epitome of a magical life. Robie

Melissa (Lissy) and Alan - we all enjoyed your recent visit so much and sharing memories about Dan and looking through pictures of all our children as they grew up brought back even more memories.  Laughing through tears about our collective herd of 12 cousins would make Mom smile so much brighter with us.  Our prayers are ever loud for Dad, Mom, Mary, Jackie, Edward, and Dan.

Two years ago today, Dan died…
Two years ago today, Dan died. Alan and I just spent the past weekend visiting three of his aunts, one uncle, and five of his cousins with five of their children. Reminiscing about Dan, we recalled how rich his life was...in dreams fulfilled, in friendships, in loving and being loved. We will always love and miss you, Dan.

Happy Halloween! I am remembering how much Dan enjoyed trick-or-treating as a child. Here we are at the Fall Festival at Neabsco Elementary when he was 5 years old. He dressed up as a tiger in a costume I made him.

I am thinking about Dan today…

I am thinking about Dan today on Mother's Day. After he moved to California in 2004, he would call me every Sunday. I dearly miss him and those calls. Here we are visiting Colonial Williamsburg when he was 4 years old.

Yesterday we celebrated Dan’s birthday—he would have turned 44. It was heartwarming to spend the day surrounded by friends who love and cherish his memory. I also introduced some new friends I’ve made over the past year to Dan, as if he’s still meeting new people and making new friends. I miss him deeply and still find myself crying every day, but I feel so grateful for the incredible support of my friends and family❤️
