Daniel's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Daniel Maurice Seltzer, on October 3, 2023. Daniel, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, was born on May 7, 1961.
Daniel graduated from Mattie T. Blount High School, located in, Prichard, AL in 1979. His spirit of service led him to enlist in the United States Air Force on June 12, 1981, where he served with honor and dedication. After his military service, he achieved another significant milestone by earning his Long Haul Commercial Driver License on January 9, 1994.
Daniel was predeceased by his beloved parents, Lee Earnest Seltzer and Essie Mae Seltzer. He was also predeceased by his brother, Lee Earnest Seltzer, Jr, with whom he shared a special bond. Despite these losses, Daniel remained steadfast, finding solace and strength in his loving family and friends.
He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory, including his sister, Shirley (Horace) Ragler, sister, Evelyn Seltzer, brother, Norman (Kassmin) Seltzer and brother. James (Kathy) McCampbell. Daniel's family was very important to him. He also leaves a host of special family, friends, nieces, nephews some include the Balams, Winchesters, Etheridge, Willis, Washington, Kelly, Montgomery’s and many others.
Mr. Daniel Seltzer's legacy is one of resilience, determination, and a true love for his family and friends. Although his physical presence will be greatly missed, his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him. As we mourn Daniel's death, we also celebrate his life and the love and joy he brought to everyone who was fortunate to know him.
He gave the gift of life by being an organ donor where recipients were found for his liver and kidneys.
