Daniel's obituary
Daniel Stephen Profio, 70, of North Royalton, Ohio, peacefully passed away in his home on March 17th, 2022.
Daniel was born on May 17th, 1951 to Sam and Marilyn Profio in Ravenna, Ohio. He began working at a young age for the city of Ravenna. He then became a truck driver and later on a truck dispatcher for over 30 years. In 1977, he met Lisa, who he often said changed his life. They wed in 1979 and went on to have two children, Stephanie and Jim. Danny put family first, always, and was a dedicated father. His grandchildren were his greatest joy. Anyone who knew Danny knew that he was the most generous and loving father, husband, and grandfather a family could ask for.
Danny was predeceased by his parents, Sam and Marilyn; his father-in-law, James; and his sister-in-laws, Janice and Lizette.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa; his children, Stephanie (Chad), and Jim (Dawn); his grandchildren, Nora, Dean, Ezra, Koben, Augustus, and Margo; his step-grandchildren, Kaylen, Aidan, and Grayson; his siblings, Sam (Suzette) and family, Jim, Michael (Barb) and family, Dominic and family, Joe and family, Mary (Ralph) and family, and Teresa; his mother-in-law, Mary Lou; his brother-in-laws, Todd (Susan) and family; Roger (Sharon) and family; and numerous other family members and friends.
There will be a celebration of life service on Saturday, April 9th at 11 am located at Parma-South Presbyterian Church in Parma Heights, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to a charity that helps our nation's veterans or to Parma-South Presbyterian Church.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Parma UH Medical Center and Heartland Hospice for their care and compassion.
