I knew Dan from Morrison in Taiwan.  He was always kind and had a quick smile.  I am praying that his family and loved ones feel God's loving arms enfolding them and comforting them.  Deepest sympathies.
My heart goes out to Dan's family and loved ones.  I trust that his journey home will be joyful as he now rests peacefully with the Lord.  I am sorry for your pain and heartache.

I had the pleasure of working with Dan for many years. As a colleague he was kind, highly ethical, honorable, funny, interesting, knowledgeable, resourceful, hard working, and dedicated. As a friend he was all that and more. With deepest sympathies to Cindy and family. D. Johnson
Dan and I were also classmates at Morrison Academy in Taiwan; we shared an additional link there…the home he grew up in was one my family lived in for years. I am grateful for the dialogue he and I have had over this past, challenging year. I rejoice that Dan is with his Savior.

Dan and I were in the same class at Morrison Academy. We were close friends and even dated during our Sophomore year. We enjoyed being in the choral and drama programs. As John Be said, Dan had a kind heart and was really smart. He was quiet, which led to sometimes being misunderstood. As with all if us from Morrison, especially in our class, we were close even though we may not have stayed in touch but every now and then. I have been playing for him throughout this horrendous journey with his health. I am so sad to hear if his death. To Melissa and Family, may the peace of God be with each of you; may you experience His grace in the grieving. Grief is tough; grief can be a lonely place. Give yourself the grace you need to feel all the feels. It’s important for your own healing.

Much love,

Deborah (a.k.a. Derba)

Dan was a friend from Morrison in Taiwan.  We played on the same soccer teams, shared the same classes and enjoyed Taiwan.  His mother and my mother were good friends and Dan was one of my mother's favorites.  He had a great sense of humor, was smart, and a good friend to all.  He will be missed by Morrison's class of 1977.
