Daniel's obituary

Daniel McSweeney 66 of Brockton ,Massachusetts passed on October 13th 2023 Born April 22 1956

Dan was a gentle giant of a man with a kind heart . He was known for his love of his children and grandchildren, who brought him immense joy. One of their annual traditions was apple picking , which never failed to create cherished memories. Dan also has a passion for fishing spending countless days on the water. He enjoyed a good game of golf with his friends especially the 19th hole.

Football was another one of his interest and he played the sport during his high school years at Natick High School  graduating with the class of 1974 

These hobbies allowed him to find solace and enjoyment in the outdoors. He also has a fondness in playing the lottery, scratch tickets which became his all time favorite pass time, often resulting in numerous winning streaks.

Dan had a successful career that spanned various fields . In his earlier years he worked as a lobsterman out of Hummarock, Massachusetts, later on he joined the local IBEW 103 union out of Boston as a electrical contractor.

Dan is survived by his daughter Rachel Garcia and her husband Ricardo as well as his grandchildren Samayah and Elijah. 

 He also survived by his daughter Chelsea McSweeney and son Michael Carter 

Dan leaves behind cherished memories and his love for his family.He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him
