Daniel "Smokey, Danny, Pappy" Longhway, 73, of Kettering, OH, passed away on October 03, 2022.

Daniel was born on 07/15/1949 to Leland and Rita Longhway in Dayton, Ohio.  He graduated from Stebbins High School in 1968.  He was a bus driver, worked at Frigidaire, and retired from GMC on 06/01/2000.  Daniel spent his time playing the guitar, fishing, gardening, and hunting. He really enjoyed pheasant hunting with his favorite bird dog, Buffy and fishing with his friends at Kelleys Island.

Daniel was predeceased by his father Leland, his mother Rita, and his brothers, Timothy and Charles (Buddy). He is survived by his daughter Lisa (Bill) Longhway- England, son Gregory Longhway, granddaughter Danielle England, grandson Austyn Longhway, granddaughter Lillian Longhway, and grandson Darian England.
